Serving people has always been important to me. That’s why I chose the profession of dentistry. It was a natural evolution for me to provide humanitarian aid to people in need, which began in 2008. Hispaniola Cares evolved as a result of the connections from these other projects. I now look forward to serving the people of Hispaniola. My parents taught me from a young age the importance of giving back. I never knew how much it would impact my life in the future. Being a Physician's Assistant (PA) with a background assisting Oral Maxilliofacial Surgery is invaluable when serving on projects. There is no greater joy than caring for someone in need. Wilson is a clinic coordinator and translator with Hispaniola Cares. He states "For me it is always a pleasure to participate with mission groups because I like to help people and I feel that every time I am part of a volunteer group I am doing my bit in contributing for the change they came to make in the lives of people in need and I am happy to serve others.

Denson, Dr. Doug, Kate and Dr. Wally met while serving on medical and dental humanitarian projects. Together they realized they had the same goal. Combining forces they created Hispaniola Cares, which serves the people of of Hispaniola (Dominican Republic and Haiti).

VOLUNTEER

HAITI BASED TEAM

I am Dr. Kinsly Fidele. I am a founder of FONDEKIF. I work at St. Joesph Clinic in PIgnon, Haiti since 2017. I volunteer to serve and improve my community by helping the most vulnerable people in need. I do a mobile clinic in different areas of Haiti where we serve 400 patients each month. After the earthquake at South part of Haiti,Les Cayes, I represent Hispaniola Cares when I am doing the mobile clinics and serving the people. I educate on diabetes and am able to give them a monitor to be able to test. I am more than proud to be part of Hispaniola Cares.
